Broadband Popularity?

The word Internet has a huge history of its own,it has passed through many barriers and now has become one of the necessity of our daily life.The methodology of connecting to the internet has also gone through many stages.Initially there were only only Dial-ups where the phone line needed to be plugged in to connect to the internet.Next came ISDN,DSL/ADSL broadband and now Optic fiber.The optic fiber cables can have connection speed as high as 100Megabits per seconds,but these are aimed mainly at business organizations and is found only in certain homes.But due to the popularity of the internet and the availability of streaming content ,more and more houses are switching to optic fibers.The chart show the equation on who's leading the world....
it is seen from an survey about 8 million homes in Japan has optic fiber internet ,which is about 5 times of that the numbers in US.Japan leads the internet world followed by Korea.There is no doubt that this number will keep increasing as more and more country joins the race!
