Antivirus too slow to catch up?

Malware is an software created to damage the computer without the knowledge of the users.There are various softwares being designed to counter these malware threats.But it seems that the creation of these malwares by hackers are too rapid when comparisons with the development of solution for it.But these are required for anti virus software development people to develop their product,however people must be careful and stick to strong data security.
