With the new year being welcomed in an awesome way throughout India the country's largest broadband supplier BSNL have decided to launch new unlimited plans for the hungry broadband users.For everyone's surprise these are mainly unlimited plans .here is an view of the plans that may be declared!
Rs. 175 256Kbps with 1 GB download limit
Rs. 600 256Kbps unlimited
Rs. 900 512Kbps unlimited (
Rs. 1100 with NightUtd 1MBPS option)
Rs. 1350 1Mbps unlimited (
Rs. 1600 with NightUtd 2MBPS option)
Rs. 1800 2Mbps unlimited
Rs. 1500 8Mbps with 20GB limit
No 8mbit unlimited plans available atm!

BSNL to launch 100 mbps speeds for private homes in stages of two years
The news is becoming bigger and bigger,the telecom giant has decided to float out tenders regarding the implementation of WiMax throughout the country covering many rural areas and towns.This venture will be implemented in two phases,in the first phase an sum of Rs2000 Cr has been set up which will cover half of the proposed coverage and the other half will follow right away with another sum of Rs 2000 Cr.It is also let out by the officials that,in an span of two years,BSNL will be launching speeds up to 100mbps for private homes.The company have decided to send out such speeds using the fiber optic cables which needs up gradation from the currently running fiber to node technology!This will also be done in two stages.

Rumor:BSNL to launch 8Mbps by Jan 1st

Well this may be India's first step in competing with other countries broadband speeds.There is an rumor that the India's largest broadband network,BSNL is going to upgrade all the current 2Mbps connection to 8Mbps by Jan 1st.This rumor has been there for quite an while but now it may be quite true.It is also expected that the existing 2Mbps users will get an auto upgrade to 8Mbps and 256kbps unlimited users will get an free auto upgrade to 2Mbps.If this is said to happen,it will be India's first step in competing with the broadband speeds of the other nations.News from trusted source.
